盧宜璋 博士 建築師   Dr. Ar. Adrian LO

 

深信建築是「以人為本」的，常透過報章專欄、書籍和電台節目跟大家分享建築的點滴。熱愛建築及其他領域的設計，獲獎包括：倫敦國際創意大賽、意大利 A'設計大獎、巴黎Novum設計大獎（Novum Design Award）、日本好設計獎（Good Design Award）。參與香港建築師學會、英國皇家建築師學會香港分會、香港建築中心、環保建築專業議會、香港綠色建築議會等多個建築有關的專業和非牟利團體多年；曾籌劃多個設計比賽及建築有關論壇、工作坊、展覽，希望把人和建築拉得更近。

 

Dr. Adrian Lo is Registered Architect in Hong Kong and a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of Architects (RIBA), who believes in people-oriented designs. Adrian’s remarkable contributions to the industry span across various platforms, including his extensive involvement on multiple boards and committees, including Director of Hong Kong Professional Green Building Council (PGBC), Founding Docent of the Hong Kong Architecture Centre, Board of Local Affairs and Board of Internal Affairs of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA). He chaired the Young Members Committee and is currently chairing the Competition Committee of his professional institute. He demonstrated a deep passion in green building practices and has worked tirelessly to promote them across various organizations, such as the Green Labeling Committee of the Hong Kong Green Building Council, BEAM Plus Major Revision Steering Committee of BSL, Scientific Committee of the Green Building Award and the Environment and Sustainable Development Committee of HKIA. 

Adrian has also been recognized for his excellence in design, as evidenced by the numerous awards he has received for his projects, both locally and internationally, including the Grand Award for Urban Intervention from the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design, and Gold Awards from A’Design and Novum Design Awards. Adrian is dedicated to motivate younger generations to think creatively and to prioritize sustainable designs in their work through his leadership as the Co-chair HKIA 65th Anniversary Student Ideas Competition Post-COVID [ ] Space 2022, Co-chair & Juror HKIA-HKFYG 13 ACGs Environmental Student Design Charrette and Organizing Committee of CIC BIM Competition 2023. He has also curated the Hong Kong Institute of Architects Pavilion at the Eco Expo Asia in 2022, and has been invited to speak at various TV and radio programmes. Adrian’s achievements in the field extend beyond his work in committees and competitions, as he is also a co-author of “Architecture Plus City, Humanity and Nature” and was a regular columnist for “Skypost”.
